Who is this guy?

Michael LeisMichael Leis specializes in delivering critical analysis, ideation, and strategic recommendations on how your organization can communicate through media, specifically emerging media channels, for the purpose of achieving more immersive, emotive brand experiences.

He has two decades of experience integrating narrative forms and technologies to deliver significant improvements in value proposition, corporate knowledge, and revenue.

It comes down to learning and sharing. Over a 17 year career, Michael spends time focusing on emerging trends in technology, communications and society, applying what is appropriate to the brand-audience relationship on a case-by-case basis.

This approach has created success and won awards, most recently Web Marketing Association WebAwards for Emmi Foods and Aircell’s Gogo (Commercial Airline Wi-Fi) launch sites. It has also helped brands like Miller Brewing, Kraft, Visa, Consumer Reports, Cover Girl, and Procter & Gamble find new ways to activate their audiences.

Michael began his professional career in 1991, producing, writing, voicing, nightly shows and two national comedy show pilots for WMMR – Westinghouse radio. Since then, he’s spent time breaking records on both the client and agency sides in a number of leadership roles.

A frequent contributor to iMediaConnection, Michael’s writing has been cited twice in the last year by SmartBrief. He has also spoken as the keynote for International Truck’s CRM summit, at Colle + McVoy on Future Web Trends, on agency widget strategy at WidgetWebExpo, and on integrated tradeshow technology at TS2, among others.

In design, Michael’s widget work has been recognized twice by Apple as “Staff Picks,” once for creating the first fully-functional Flash-based dashboard widget. He has also received “Designer Spotlight” award for Web design by iStockPhoto.

Michael lives in the Philadelphia area with his Wife, Jessica, and two sons Jacob (11) and Max (7). He is a graduate of Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater with a major in television screenwriting and production.
